concert

Well last night was my spring choir concert. It went pretty well though i kinda screwed up on hand bells. I was and am sick so that was incredibly exciting. Had a few rough spots singing but eh. and one of my friends got to come which made me happy :D and she gave me a carved eagle pen since i'm an eagle scout. I love random gifts.

Coffee

Ah coffee it is one of my fav drinks other than H2O (also know as water). Its is wonderful stuff. The rich smells, the deep taste, it seems to go well with cookies to. :D As some of you know I have a desire to open a coffee shop later in life.

Accents, theology and randomness......

I have always wondered why do people have accents? Take the US for example we all speak English (primarily at least) but in each different part of the country we have different accents. Why is that? I could go searching for some reason but I am just to lazy. So if some of y'all have an answer please feel free to enlighten me. I enjoy enlightenment. :D

For those of you who are Christians (and maybe a few who arnt) you probably know that 7 is a very important number to God for what ever reason. For example everything was created in 7 days, the week is composed of 7 days. The tribulation is going to be 7 years long. I wonder why pregnancy is 9 months than. It seems to be a very important thing and I don't know of many if any things in the Bible which coincide with the number 9. Once again if anyone has any ideas please tell. I guess its just one of those things which we will find out about in heaven.

I love cookies....

COOKIES!!!!!!

I love cookies. I also discovered that if a recipe says to smush down the cookies it is a good idea. Because other wise you get very brown cookies that are not all the way cooked in the middle. Anyways i love cookies and coffee together they are very good. I also cleaned the kitchen just in case y'all wanted to know. It was almost enjoyable but not quite.

wacky gov

For those of you who live in Texas y'all have probably heard that the Texas legislature is wanting to make a law that girls once they reach 6th grade have to take a shot for HPV (human papilloma virus.)
To start i am a very conservative Christian. I admit the shot sounds good. A shot which could possibly cut down the number of people who contract cancer certainly sounds good to me. But I don't think its the governments responsibility to make it required. If i had daughters I would not even consider it myself because I think abstinence is just as good or better than a shot. Also I would want the choice whether it was administered to my children or not. Its not the governments place to tell me that my daughter once she reaches 6th grade has to have a shot for something which if i have done my job as Christian father should not even be a problem.

So if you got lost with all my rambling my problem is not with the shot but with the state wanting to require it being taken.

I will get off my soap box now.
